Ep 143 - Snyder Cut Discussion

You knew this was coming. How could we not discuss the biggest movie thus far in 2021? And on top of that, a super hero movie that only came to be because of fan outcry. Now that everyone has had time to watch and digest the 4 hour epic that is Zack Snyder’s Justice League, aka “The Snyder Cut,” it’s time to discuss what we liked, what we didn’t, what we thought of it compared to the original cut and where, if anywhere, the DC movies are going. I know we have discussed movies in the past and the show has rivaled the movies runtime, but I promise that will not be the case this time.

Ep 73 - D23 SDCC 2017 Wrap Up

New Star Wars land! New Doctor Who! New Ghostbusters! It's like geek Christmas. And between all of the news coming out of D23 and San Diego Comic Con, it basically was. This week the group takes a break from our stand format to discuss all of the stuff that was announced this past week. Between the trailers, toys and comics books we have quite a few opinions, hopes and fears to get off our chests.

Ep 33 - Super Hero Summer Olympics

The medals have been awarded, the torch has been extinguished and the 2016 Summer Olympics have come to a close. Several Olympic and world records were broken and mankind has tested the boundaries of what is physically possible... at least for us mere mortals. But if super beings were allowed to compete, it would be a whole different game. This week we discuss which heroes and villains we would like to see compete in the Olympic games and how the events would have to change just to accommodate thier powers. And no, it's not going to be Superman vs fill-in-the-blank for every event.

Ep 12 - Tournament of Idiot Super Heroes

Most comic book geeks have had more debates about which super hero is faster, stronger or would win in a fight than they would care to admit. We're doing just the opposite. Which "super hero" is the biggest idiot? And we're not just talking who has the dumbest powers, which one is literally dumber than a rock? Let's just say, our combatants won't be featured in the Marvel or DC cinematic universes anytime soon.
