Ep 121 - The List SNES

This week we’re making our list of the top 5 SNES games ever. We did it with the NES and Genesis, now its time to whittle down the Super Nintendo to the best of the best. This is going to be a blood bath.

Ep 120 - Imposter Syndrome

Have you ever felt like a fraud? Like at any moment someone is going to stop you say, “you know you’re not fooling anyone.” Imposter syndrome is a real condition where a person feels like all of the accomplishments were luck and their knowledge and skills are not real. This week, we’re discussing times when we have felt like this whether it be at work or at a con with other fans.

Ep 119 - Cartoons Reloaded

What if Skeletor wasn’t the bad guy? What if he was in fact trying to save Eternia from an oppressive monarchy? What if the Joker was really the protagonist and was trying to take out the rest of the scum and corrupt politicians in Gotham but kept getting stopped by Batman? This week, we take a look at some of our favorite cartoons from the other side of the fence.

Ep 118 - Geeky Genealogy

Chances are, you’re probably not the only geek in your family. Maybe your dad used to take you to the comic book shop or to go see the new sci-fi movie playing at the drive-in. Maybe your grandfather showed you how to make cool models for the train set in his garage. Maybe you had a cool aunt who got you into awesome book series or always played board games with you. This week we’re looking into our geeky genealogy and the people who made us the geeks we are today.

Ep 117 - New Disney Afternoon 2

Who else but Disney would take a few characters from their animated movies, drop them in a completely different setting, and create a new cartoon out of it? This week we’re doing it again and creating our own Disney Afternoon shows based on animated Disney and Pixar movies. Because who doesn’t want to see Woody and Buzz Lightyear as investigators in a Law and Order rip off?

Ep 116 - LIVE from EGX 2019

What once was Geekfest is now Epically Geeky Expo or EGX for short. We’re live at the event playing one of our favorite games; geeky either or with people attending the event. What mind bending questions will we ask this year?

Ep 115 - Avengers Endgame Discussion

Hopefully you’ve been able to see Avengers Endgame by now, but with theaters still selling out showings it hasn’t been easy getting tickets, or at least good tickets. Now that we’ve had time to see the movie (some of us more than once), it’s time to discuss it and share our feelings on it. And there are a lot of feelings to discuss. Don’t drink too much because this is going to be a long episode (but hopefully shorter than the movie)!

Ep 113 - Live Action Cartoon Remakes

Live action remakes of cartoons are not new. We went through a spell where they remade Scooby Doo and the Flintstones. Then again with Transformers and G.I. Joe. And now Disney is all about remaking their animated movies like Aladdin, The Lion King and Dumbo. So now it’s our turn. This week we are going to choose cartoons from the 80’s and 90’s we’d like to see remade in the real world.

Ep 112 - Restaurant Movie Tie-Ins

The Hobbit was an epic movie series that people really wanted to experience to the fullest. So of course to get the full experience you have to eat at… Denny’s? Be The Dark Knight by eating the Dark Whopper at Burger King? OK, movie tie-ins at restaurants don’t usually make a lot of sense, but they are fun to see how bad the cross promotions can get. This week we take a stab at coming up with some as well. The catch, both the movie and the restaurant are assigned by someone else.
