The media has recently been highlighting how adults have turned to collecting and playing with kids toys, action figures and Lego. They have even given them a new name, “kidults.” But this is not a new thing. Adults have been doing this for decades, maybe forever. Model trains, doll collections and trading cards have been around and were common fixtures in our parents’ and grandparents’ homes. So why is this news now?

The term "man cave" conjures images of game and movie rooms with recliners, pool tables and sports memorabilia. But a geek lair can be... anything. It might be a bedroom filled with video games systems, an office stuffed full of movie posters and action figures or even a kitchen with awesome baking utensils. This week we discuss our geek lairs; what we have, what we collect, and the things we would love to have it money & space were not an issue.
