Artificial Intelligence is all the rage right now causing people to question its use and how it will effect society. This month we take a look at the first in a two part series where it happens and even though people die, fortunes are lost and countries could fall, we have to ask, is that a bad thing? Find out in this month’s book, Daemon by Daniel Suarez.

Ep 61 - Where the Deer and the Antelope Play

Most people know Nick Offerman as the actor who played Ron Swanson, the ultra libertarian parks director on Parks and Recreation. We discussed another book of his a little while back that he wrote with his wife, Megan Mullally, as well as the Audible exclusive books he has done. While the title of his newest book lets you know he will be discussing he thoughts on things he is passionate about, like the environment and hiking, it doesn’t really clue you in on some of his other thoughts he will be sharing, like his political views. Let’s just say if you don’t lean a particular way in your political thinking, you might want to pass this one up.

Next books will be:

June - Infinite by Jeremy Robinson

July - Half Share by Nathan Lowell

August - Ravenport by Nathan Lowell

Host: Eugene Stephens

Ep 5 - The Princess Diarist

For a large portion of the population when you ask them about "their princess" they will probably respond with Diana. But for us geeks and nerds "our princess" will always be Leia. In honor of Carrie Fisher's passing, we read her last book, The Princess Diarist, where she recounts her time during the filming of the original Star Wars trilogy. Told only the way she could, it's sassy, funny and down to earth. May the Force be with her... always. We also announce our next book for March; Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Graham-Smith.
