Ep 31 - Halloween Wins

Time to see what the group has been working on. Sure, it’s after Thanksgiving in the US, but we’re talking Halloween and all the things we’ve accomplished since then. Tombstones, action figures, paintings and room redesigns; this episode has a little of everything.

Ep 30 - Catching Up

It’s our catching up episode so we’re discussing what we’re watchings, what we’re listing to, what we’re thinking about and what we’re doing. The funny thing is, we have more to discuss about what we have gotten done this month than we did last month. Could the burn out be over and the creative juices be flowing again?

Ep 29 - Feel the Burn Out

Burn out can suck all of the creative juices out of you leaving you feeling tired, uninspired, and rung-out. So what do you do if and when this happens? This month the group discusses how they have experienced creative burn out and how they eventually got past it.

Ep 28 - New Format Who This

So we are trying something new. We’ve come to realize a lot of our creative projects right now almost seem like they are just chores in disguise and in all honesty, they are. So we’re going to take a step back a discuss what’s been been going on in our lives by picking one thing a piece for a few categories and discussing them. Think of it as our chance to inhale and absorb creativity out in the world before we exhale and put our own creativity out into the world. Hope you like it.

Ep 27 - You Are Glitter

Covid strikes again! This time the Canadians were down for the count putting any and all kitchen renovations on the back burner. Meanwhile all of the good intentions in the world could only go so far in Texas as summer vacation didn’t see much done. Oh well, sometimes the universe tells you when to slow down and you don’t have any say in the matter.

Ep 26 - Too Knotty for My Taste

Ever feel like you’re getting close to finishing a project and just as you rounding third base you notice that giant pit of spikes between you and home? Or while you’re on the home stretch that last lap suddenly looks like it’s 3 miles long? While progress has been made on our projects, it just seems like we still have a long ways to go before we can call them complete.

Ep 25 - Too Hot to Work

House renovations continue in Canada while down in Texas it was too hot to work. Literally. At least coming home to a house with no working air conditioning sure made it feel that way. Now that the A/C is working again, maybe work can continue on the proton pack.

Ep 24 - Kris is Stripping Days

What’s the difference between Etsy and lead paint? Nothing. They were both beneficial for a time and now can be hazardous to your health if not dealt with properly. On this episode we discuss the Etsy strike over their raising rates (again) which makes it hard for sellers to make a profit and stay competitive. We also discuss Kris and Ray’s experience with stripping lead paint in their kitchen and all of the fun times that goes with that.

Ep 23 - FN Carl

If you are wondering where last month’s episode is, it’s in the ether somewhere. So this month’s episode is going to be double stuffed full of updates. Spring is springing and the weather is getting nicer which for the Canadians means “reno season.” For the Texan, it’s time to get on the yard in order and get back to work on projects.
